ETDXA Minutes
for the meeting of
January 18, 2010
The regular meeting of the East Tennessee DX Association was held on Monday night January 18, 2010. Twenty-five members and 3 guests were in attendance.
The meeting was called to order at 6:40 p.m. by President Willard Sitton, W4HZD.
Introductions were made to the group.
The report of the nominating committee was given. These nominees have indicated interest in the following positions:
President - Dave Garner, K4YRK
Vice-president - Jack Creed, K4EPC
Secretary - Willard Sitton, W4HZD
Treasurer - Ruby O’Kain, K4UPS
Vice-president - Jack Creed, K4EPC

DX reports were given by: Lynn Lamb, W4NL and Dave Garner, K4YRK
Lynn Lamb, W4NL, reported that he had CW records which will be converted to CDs and then donated to the club library.
The Eagle award was presented to Don Prater, W4TO, in appreciation for his many years of service with regard to maintaining the DX node. This is the inaugural presentation of this award.
Bill O’Kain, K4LTA, and Ruby O’Kain, K4UPS, described their upcoming trip to Granada.
Dave Garner, K4YRK, introduced the program which was for each member to describe his or her station and antennas.
Jim Yearwood, KE4HX, won the door prize which was a center insulator.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
