ETDXA Minutes
for the meeting of
February 15, 2010
The regular meeting of the East Tennessee DX Association was held
on Monday night February 15, 2010. Sixteen members and 1 guest were in attendance.
The meeting was called to order at 6:40 p.m. by President Willard Sitton, W4HZD.
Introductions were made to the group.
The floor was opened for nominations for officers for the upcoming period.
There were no additional nominations and the nominations were closed.
The following members were elected to be the new slate of officers:
President Dave Garner, K4YRK
Vice-president Jack Creed, K4EPC
Secretary Willard Sitton, W4HZD
Treasurer Ruby O’Kain, K4UPS
The DX reports were given by: Lynn Lamb, W4NL
Lynn Lamb, W4NL, donated two books and a CD to the ETDXA library.
The club appreciates this donation and it will be a valuable addition to the library.

Willard Sitton, W4HZD, reported working Ruby O’Kain, K4UPS, on 14.333 mhz.
This is the local contact frequency for the Grenada dxpedition. Schedule is 0745
local time Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Willard Sitton, W4HZD, introduced Dave Garner, K4YRK, who presented a very
interesting and informative program about his VHF/UHF weak signal work.
The title was “DXing on the VHF/UHF Bands”.
The door prize (multimeter) was won by Don Riley, N4CZL.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
